Participation

The race is open to the public, both registered and unregistered competitors can start.

Race format

Saturday

• 12:00 - 15:00 start of the individual free start for the 15 km circuit (1 track for classic technique + adjustment to free technique).
• Option to ride the circuit at your own discretion 1x, 2x or 3x (15 km, 30 km, 45 km).

The competitor starts individually.

Individual race start package includes:

• hat, headband or scarf of your choice
• hot meal (soup + main meal) free of charge
• participant medal
• starting number 
• standard service and comfort of the Trail for Life race series (heated large capacity tent, changing rooms, storage room, ski service,...

Timing and starting procedure for the individual race

Skiers start the 15 km circuit individually from 12:00 to 15:00

For timekeeping you must have a bib number.

The starting corridor can be run through repeatedly, and when the participant decides to start his/her run, he/she goes to a separate corridor with a starting gate, which he/she passes through and from that moment on his/her time is measured. Please note that the starting gate can only be passed through once.

The finish line closes at 4:30pm on Saturday, you must cross the finish line by this time and complete your run.

After the race there will be a raffle from all participants of the individual ride for valuable prizes.

Sunday

Classic race format with classic technique for 15, 30 and 45 km.

Results

The first 3 competitors in each category are evaluated. In the Saturday individual race a raffle is drawn from all participants.

Cancellation of the race

Information in the media and on the club website.

In the event of the race not taking place, the entry fee will not be refunded.

Protests

According to the Ski Racing Rules.

Miscellaneous

The organiser accepts no responsibility for any items left behind by participants.

 A time limit will be declared on the long course.

 Competitors participate at their own risk and responsibility and in the knowledge of their own good health.

 The organiser accepts no responsibility for any damage caused during the race by participants or to participants.

 Each participant must be properly prepared physically and mentally.
